The pair met for the first time while they were both running round Sefton Park. Mark proposed to Sarah early on the morning of her 30th birthday when she was lying in bed covered in fake tan!
Two days before Sarah and Mark's wedding day, we were baking in 38 degree heat, but on the day the rain hardly stopped. More than one person, including the bride, said it was better this way as the heat would have been worse. It was clear that nothing, including the rain, was going to take the smile off her face.
Everything was organised, hair, make up, Dominos...!
The pizza arrives...
the Father of the bride arrives...
She looked up at her Mum and just said, "Wow!"
She didn't even wait for the guys with the umbrellas, just ran, smiling, into the venue.
There were laughs during the ceremony...
local singer Sam Darby did a fabulous job entertaining the guests in the bar area
after Sarah made a short speech, one of the waiters made one too...
he then burst into song and took everyone by surprise!
then another joined in! The newlyweds had hired The Singing Staff to entertain their guests during the wedding breakfast, and they certainly did!
the rain stopped for around thirty minutes and we were able to nip around the grounds to get some Bride and Groom portraits
then the evening began, games where the children had to dress up the men, Mr and Mrs with shoes and there were props for everyone too
after their big day, Sarah and Mark had a well derserved break and honeymooned at the luxurious Gran Hotel Bahia Del Duque, Playa Del Duque, Tenerife
